HCA Badminton Club Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

HCA Badminton Club is a “not for profit organisation” that uses personal data purely for its own administrative activities and as such it is not registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.

Upon joining the Club, personal data is collected including Name, Address, Telephone Numbers, Email Addresses, Sex, Date of Birth and Badminton England Membership Number.

At the start of the yearly membership renewal process (usually August / September), a form is sent to members to validate or change this information. In addition members may request ad-hoc changes throughout the year by approaching a committee member.

This data is stored in a database run by GroupSpaces with their Privacy Policy available at http://groupspaces.com/c/privacy The relevant data is shared as a necessary part of their registration processes with:

• The Hazlemere Community Association - Privacy Policy
• Badminton England - Privacy Policy
• High Wycombe & District Badminton Association - Privacy Policy
• Chalfont and District Badminton Association - Privacy Policy

This data is accessible within GroupSpaces by the Club Committee, Team Captains and IT Support.

This data is not shared with any other organisation.

If the member:

• requests their data to be removed
• leaves the club
• does not pay their annual membership fees

then this data will be deleted from the GroupSpaces database within one month.
